NorthEnd Partners, Inc., founded in 1992 as TryonNorth Development Corporation, serves as a non-profit advocate for the improvement and redevelopment of the North Tryon Corridor. The organization’s boundaries are 10th Street to University City and include the surrounding areas along the corridor.
North End Today
After decades of decline, the North Tryon Corridor is awakening to great potential. With the University to the North and the burgeoning development uptown, North Tryon is strategically located for growth and development. The planning process has begun to extend the South Rail Line through the North Tryon area to UNCC. Examples of recent redevelopment and future plans for the area are:
